The Adventures of Snake

With Miranda out of the picture, it wasn't long before Alleria greeted our newest resident.
Whoooo could it be?

Snake! I've heard about this Snake before...wearing a ninja hood, being all jocky...was this weirdo going to fit into our tight-knit community?
He already had a couple of points in his favor. He moved right into Miranda's old spot, very graciously sparing the untouched spots in town. He was unique. And he oddly looked like a cross between Gaston and Vladimir, which is probably the best thing.
It wasn't long before we found out.

Whaaaa?!
This. Guy. Is. AWESOME!
He has the best personality, keeping all of Alleria entertained with his insanely ridiculous statements. He moved in and quickly became a prized member of the community. He literally put on the official Alleria shirt and started his crazy hijinks.
True to his outfit, it seems like he's the ninja of town. I've already found him sneaking about.

No, this isn't a game of Hide and Seek. He's just hiding behind the museum. Being a ninja.

I guess while he's busy with his official ninja duties, he also eavesdrops on the townies and reports back to me.

Yay! We love veggies!!

And it wasn't long before he invited himself over to my house for a visit.

I think he came in the window.
He also took it upon himself to critique my house.

But he also had some praise for his new buddy.

Lemme tell you, it's a great relief to finally have an unexpectedly awesome new neighbor move in.
But Snake isn't the only story in town.

Pete went on to say that Pelly was too young for him, that he's looking for somebody more mature...hmm...like Phyllis?
Barf. Drama.

Also, Nook brought up the dreaded quesion of which store I would prefer yesterday.

I decided to downgrade to Nook 'n Go. I need the late hours, especially on the weekend. 9 PM closing time just doesn't cut it for fishing and late-night play.

I've been meaning to arrange my flowers for maximum hybrid growing but haven't gotten around to that daunting task. But the other day, I walked around and found that Alleria must have been throwing up pink cosmos.

As you can see, I added them to my measly collection of hybrids. Wooo! Go us!

A recent trip to the city showed that animals I've never met before somehow know who I am.

Huh. You learn something new everyday.

And finally, it seems like the causalities from the Alleria Duck Hunt aren't quite done.

Wooo! She wasn't here long but she already wants out. Of course I'm letting her go. Wait...which means...Deena! The wiiinnaaaa of the Duck Hunt! She's the sole survivor and the lucky grand prize winner of, erm, staying in town a little longer than the other ducks. Your bland personality helped keep you hidden and out the spotlight. Congratulations, Deena!

Bunny Day

So Bunny Day was pretty cool. Apart from the whole 'I know I'm tearing up grass' thing, it was a lot of fun and a good change of pace from the day to day activities.
When I approached Town Hall, I heard some pretty festive music...it was pretty catchy.
And then Zipper T. Bunny came into view.
And I thought, "This is a guy I want to dance with!"

So I spent about 20 minutes dancing with this guy.

Joan didn't think it was very funny. She just stood there and stared for a bit.

Finally, I thought it was about time to talk to this guy and find out what it was he wanted me to do. Unfortunately I found out a bit TOO much information.

Whoops.
But the egg hunting went fine. For the most part, the dig spots were easy to find and close together.

Even my boyfriend got into it and helped me look for the brown stars.

After awhile I got the whole set and was excited to set it up in my main room. I was getting pretty tired of the Festivale furniture set (that was incomplete anyway). So after a bit of re-arranging, I set up the whole Egg set. The whole gaudy thing.

I don't even like eggs.
But it's a change and change is good. I guess it'll give me motivation to plan what my main room really should be.

Other than that, things are about the same in Alleria. Static seems to have the scoop on the new girl...

...and our friendship is as close as they get. I think?

That is a compliment, right? Or does that mean I'm uppity and over-priced??

Phineas gave me a Bunny Day present.

I match! For once.
And look who's coming to the city a whole lot....

Gaaaaastooooooon. He doesn't look happy to see me.

And I guess the Duck Hunt was successful. Miranda came up to me and mentioned that she is thinking about moving. Shame that the original duck in town is the one forced out...but that's how the cookie crumbles, I suppose. One down, one (or two!) to go.

Duck Hunt

It's been pretty quiet in Alleria.
Most of us have been enjoying the endless sunshine and pretty spring flowers...not really doing a whole lot.

Static, Avery, and I played train for a bit.
And we've all had an endless amount of inane conversations.

Marcel does seem to have the most. I love him, though.
As expected, Winnie moved on to bigger and better things.

I do kind of miss her now. Especially since somebody new moved into her old spot.

Ugh. Yes, Pompom, we do.
Pompom. Another duck. That brings Alleria a total of 3 ducks: Miranda, Deena, and now Pompom. That also brings Alleria a total of 2 ducks too many.
Miranda was here originally, Deena moved in not too long ago....I believe that gives Miranda first dibs on land. I officially declare it Duck Season in Alleria. But please, if you must take a duck, I ask that you do it humanely. We're all about animal rights around here.
Other than the duck overpopulation, the only other thing of note going on is the Able Sister Drama. Yes, that whole story has finally started to unravel in Alleria.

Label?

Ohhh, Labelle.
Yawn.
Before Pompom moved in, I re-started my campaign to convince Gaston to move to Alleria.

He mostly ignored me when I stopped him in the square at the city. So I took to disguising myself in the hopes he would mistake me for a friend.

I guess it didn't work so well....

I even offered him a balloon!
(One day, Phineas and I were a matching pair!)

And I guess that the word got around that I was recruiting a new Allerian. When I ran into an old pal, Vladimir, I suggested he pack up and move on over. He wasn't very receptive either.

Meh.
After getting ran out of the city, I retired to stalking the neighbors of Alleria.

BUBBLE ATTACK!

What can I say? I live in a town with 10 animals. I think it would drive anybody a little crazy.
And today was the Fishing Tourney. Largest fish wins the purty gold trophy.

Wiiiiiiiinnnnaaaaaa.
Tomorrow is Bunny Day. I'm looking forward to tearing up all my beautiful grass looking for foil for a bunny who will exchange it for egg-shaped furniture. Hurrah.

Out and about

Our dear friend Moe has left Alleria.

A stark brown patch of dirt among a sea of green grass is all that's left to remind us that Moe's house once stood here. That plus an advertisement for Tom Nook.
He did leave me a sweet note in my mailbox.

I'll miss you too, Moe.

It seems like spring fever has spread around Alleria. Everybody is out and about, enjoying the sun and playing games of hide and seek. The other day, Astrid invited me to join her, Miranda, and Rhonda in a game.

Girls only! Well, little did they know....I happen to rock at seeking out large colorful animals who pick out terrible hiding spots.

Trees are terrible hiding spots. Peeking out from behind them makes it worse.
While I didn't find Miranda in time (pizza delivery takes priority over finding a hiding pink duck), I did beat Antonio, Chrissy, and Astrid. However, my victory celebration was cut short.

A POND SMELT?! Really?
What a lame prize! I guess the joke was on me...

It seems like Lady Luck has been by Alleria.
1.) Wendell stopped by for a visit and gifted a horizontal (I think) path.

2.) Museum of Alleria has another completed dinosaur - the dimetrodon!

3.) I got my silver shovel from Resetti!

Yes! I don't check religiously to see if the cone is moved but last night I decided to head over to the city and check. And it was!
For some reason, the best picture wouldn't save so when I left Resetti's surveillance center I went to try again and accidentally took another picture. D'oh! I hate how you can only have one picture at a time...I lost a true rare moment - Resetti handing over my new shovel. Oh well.
Before I went home for the night, I checked the cities main square and found an old friend.

GAAAAAAASTON!
Anybody who visited me in the 'wild world' of Kradia knows that Gaston and I were best of buds. It was so nice to see him visiting the City.
By the way Gaston, Alleria is looking for a new neighbor!!
